Highlights:
Led flagship program of GoI - National Rural Health Mission in J&K State for 5 years; worth INR 600 Crore annually
Implemented new programs:
National Urban Health Mission
Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram - launched in the entire state with recruitment and training of more than 1000 doctors and paramedics
National Summit of Best Practices and Innovations in Public Health Care System was organized at Srinagar w.e.f 3rd to 5th June 2013 were the state was awarded with three state awards for reduction in TFR, increase in OPD, IPD and surgeries in the public sector.
Participated in Regional review cum orientation workshop on PC &PNDT for the Northern region was organized w.e.f. 26th to 27th September 2013 at Srinagar in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI.
Prepared:
State Program Implementation Plans 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 in the State and getting its sanction from the GoI.
Proposal for new schemes interventions like Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Urban Health Mission, RKSK etc.
Collaborated with various agencies for test checks, audit and inspection of the implementation of various schemes under NRHM.
Capacity building of professional working in the Program Management Units at various levels as well as working under various schemes.
Maximum decrease in Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in the year 2014-15 for which the state received award in July 2017 and Total Fertility Rate (TFR) the State in last three years and became better than National average.
Set-up Mother and Child Tracking Program in the State.
Attended High Level Ministerial Meeting on Increasing and Sustaining Immunization Coverage in South East Asia 2nd August 2011.
Worked as State Nodal Officer PC&PNDT Act for Coordinating with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI for four (04) years.
Created Mass Awareness by conducting NRHM Sammelan at State/ District/ Block Level
Capacity Building/Trainings of different categories of staff under NRHM
Appointed as external examiner for Master in Hospital Administration Course at AIIMS, New Delhi
Attended 2nd international conference on Emergency Medical Services Systems, innovation and Entrepreneurship in Health care w.e.f. 18th to 20th October 2013, AIIMS, New Delhi and chaired one of the session.
Organized two workshops for implementation of Central Plan Scheme Monitoring system at Jammu/ Srinagar to implement the same in the state.
