Health Mela at Village Thial: A Health Mela is organized every year at native village Thial, Tehsil Majalta, Udhampur in the memory of late father Sh. Durga Dass Sharma for the last 30 years. Recently, the 27th Health Mela was organized on 13th & 14th of March, 2026.
Infrastructure Development: A society was constituted in name of later father, Sh. Durga Dass Sharma, where family members are working as members and looking after the development of infrastructure in village
Award Function on 26th January: Every year on 26th January, a function is organized at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Thial where the students from all the adjoining schools of different villages are requested to participate and a competition is held amongst them
Cricket Tournament: Cricket Tournament is organized in village Chokan, Tehsil Majalta, Udhampur in the memory of my father Lt. Sh. Durga Dass Sharma (where Govt. has proposed to construct a mini-stadium) to inculcate sportsmanship in the students of the coming generation
Donation of land: Donated more than half acre (5 kanals) of land at village Thial, District Udhampur to Department of Health for construction of Primary Health Centre.
